What is your approach?
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you organize your day, with tips to create the picture perfect wedding you have been dreaming about. During wedding days I take a very journalistic approach; I love to focus on the authentic emotions and feels of the day the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. My hope is that in 20 years from now these photos will bring you back to your wedding day.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Visalia, California and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place.
When will we get our photos?
My job does not end at the end of your wedding. I will go home at the end of the night, back up your photos, and edit the highlights of your day so you can expect sneak peaks within 3 days! I pride myself on a fast turnaround time, so you will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
For a 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive between 400 - 600 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
How long is the engagement session included in the package?
Your engagement session is an hour long at a local place (within 30 miles from Visalia). It includes an outfit change and all best edited photos from your session with a two week turnaround time. Sessions outside the 30 mileage from Visalia are charged at a rate of 60 cents per mile.
We are ready! how do we book you?
Yay! Thank you for choosing me to capture your day. The booking process is super easy! I will send you a contract and invoice. You are able to review the contract and invoice and make a payment online using a debit or credit card or a bank transfer. The retainer fee is 33% of the total. The rest is due in two installments (one midway and the last a week before the wedding).
I would love to do an engagement session, but my partner and I are so awkward in front of the camera
I promise you every single one of my clients has said the exact same thing, but do not worry! One of my biggest goals is to make sure you feel prepared and comfortable, so prior to your engagement session, I will send you a style guide and a questionnaire so I can get to know a bit more about you and your partner. During the session, I will use fun prompts to get you two comfortable, and make sure your hair and posture are on point ;) I am also not opposed to taking a shot with you if that helps.
What happens if we hire you and you are not able to shoot our wedding?
If an emergency arises and I am not able to shoot your wedding after you have hired me, I have a team of professional associate and second shooter photographers that will fill in for me, and to make sure the editing stays consistent, I will still edit your wedding.
Do you offer videography?
Yes I do! My team and I can offer both or either service :)
Do you offer vendor recommendations?
Yes! Right after you book with me, I will send you my welcome guide where you can find A TON of good information from vendor recommendations, choosing the best location to get ready, and of course help with your timeline so everything runs smoothly. If you have any questions at all, I am always available via text or email.
